പഴവങ്ങാടിയിലെ കുട്ടന് വൈദ്യന് ബാലചികിത്സാലയം റെയ്ഡ് ചെയ്ത് പൂട്ടുകയും വ്യാജചികിത്സയെന്നാരോപിച്ച് മെഡിക്കല് പ്രാക്ടീഷണറെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്ത അലോപ്പതി ഡി.എം.ഒയുടെ നടപടിയില് പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച് ആയുര്വേദ ഐക്യവേദിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില് സെക്രട്ടേറിയറ്റ് മാര്ച്ചും ധര്ണയും നടത്തി. എഴുപതിലേറെ വര്ഷം പഴക്കമുള്ള ഈ ബാലചികിത്സാലയം ദിവസേന നൂറില്പരം കുട്ടികളെ പരിശോധിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥാപനമാണ്. അവിടെ ചികിത്സ തേടിയ മൂന്ന് കുട്ടികള്ക്ക് ജന്നി വന്നു എന്നാരോപിച്ച് പരിശോധന നടത്താനും സ്ഥാപനം പൂട്ടിക്കാനും അലോപ്പതി ഡി.എം.ഒക്ക് അധികാരമില്ല. ആയുര്വേദത്തെ അവഹേളിച്ച ഡി.എം.ഒക്കെതിരെ നടപടിയെടുക്കണമെന്നും ബാലചികിത്സാലയം ഉടന്
